FL(R)N36 Series Indoor LBS Gas Load Break Switch
The medium voltage switches used in general hub substations use circuit breakers as control and protection devices, and must have automatic reclosing. The power supply capacity of each distribution station in the ring network is generally not large, and its rated current is less than the rated current of the ring network. Therefore, the power supply unit of the ring network distribution station can use a combination of load switches and fuses with simple structure, affordable price, and satisfactory performance.
Except for the inability to break short circuits, SF6 load switches and circuit breakers have similar functions.
1. SF6 load switch has better performance in breaking no-load transformers than circuit breakers.
2. SF6 load switch+current limiting fuse can also disconnect short circuits at once, which is almost the same as the function of a circuit breaker.
3. SF6 load switch+current limiting fuse is not less effective than circuit breaker, but the cost is much lower.
Product Description
This series load break switch is mainly used to break and close the load current. The load switch can also be used in conjunction with a high-voltage fuse instead of a circuit breaker. Because load switches are easy to use and reasonable in price, load switches are widely used in 10kV distribution network systems. Reasonable selection of load switches in the design is of great significance to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the power grid.
Newly developed load switch, applied on SF6 RMU, with features of high efficiency, safety, reliability, simple structure, flexible operation, interlock reliable, easy to install and so on. It satisfies with standard IEC94, GB3804, GB16926 and so on.
FLN36 load break switch use SF6 gas as arc extinguishing and insulating medium. There are three work stations:opening,closing and grounding in the switch.It has small volume,installing easy-to use, strong environmental adaptability and other characteristics.
FLN36 Sf6 load break switch and FLRN36 -24D load break switch with fuse combination can be used to protect and control the electric equipments for power supply and transformer substations, which is especially suitable for RMU, cable branch cabinet and distribution switching substation.
