YB series prefabricated substation, is a factory prefabricated indoor and outdoor compact distribution equipment consisting of high-voltage switchgear, distribution transformers, and low-voltage distribution devices arranged according to a certain wiring scheme. It combines the functions of transformer voltage reduction and low-voltage distribution organically and is installed in a moisture-proof, rust proof, dustproof, rodent proof, fireproof, anti-theft, heat-insulating, fully enclosed, and movable steel structure box. 

YB European style box type substations, also known as outdoor complete substations or combination substations, have advantages such as flexible combination, convenient transportation and migration, easy installation, short construction period, low operating cost, small footprint, no pollution, and no maintenance.

In the construction (renovation) of rural power grids, it is widely used in the construction and renovation of 10-110kV small and medium-sized substations, factories and mines, as well as urban and rural mobile operations. Due to its easy penetration into the load center, reducing the power supply radius, and improving the quality of terminal voltage, it is particularly suitable for the renovation of rural power grids.


Product Features

1. Advanced technology, safe and reliable

The box adopts leading domestic technology and processes. The shell is generally made of galvanized steel plate, and the frame is made of standard container materials and manufacturing technology, with good anti-corrosion performance, ensuring no corrosion for 20 years. The inner sealing plate is made of aluminum alloy buckle plate, and the interlayer is made of fireproof insulation material. Air conditioning and dehumidification devices are installed in the cabinet, and the equipment operation is not affected by natural climate and external pollution, ensuring normal operation in harsh environments ranging from -40 ºC to+40 ºC.
The primary equipment inside the box adopts domestically leading technology such as unit vacuum switch equipment, dry-type transformer, vacuum circuit breaker (spring operating mechanism), etc. The product has no exposed live parts and is a fully insulated structure, which can fully achieve zero electric shock accidents. The entire station can achieve oil-free operation with high safety.

2. High degree of automation

The entire substation is designed with intelligence. The protection system adopts a substation comprehensive automation device, which is installed in a decentralized manner. It can achieve "four remotes", namely telemetry, remote signaling, remote control, and remote adjustment. Each unit has independent operating functions and relay protection, with complete functions, remote setting of operating parameters, humidity and temperature control inside the box, meeting the requirements of unmanned operation.

3. Factory prefabrication

All equipment can be installed in the factory at once, which shortens the design and manufacturing cycle. On site installation only requires debugging work such as cabinet positioning, cable connections between cabinets, outgoing cable connections, protection setting verification, and transmission testing. The entire substation takes approximately 5-8 days from installation to commissioning, greatly reducing the construction period.

4. Flexible combination

Due to the compact structure of the European style box transformer, each box forms an independent system, making the combination flexible and versatile.

5. Low investment and quick results

Compared with integrated substations of the same scale (35kV equipment arranged outdoors, 10kV equipment installed inside), European style box transformers can reduce investment by 40% -50%.

6. Small footprint.

Taking a 4000kVA single main transformer substation as an example, constructing a conventional 35kV substation requires an area of about 3000m and requires large-scale civil engineering; If a box type substation is selected, the minimum floor area of the main transformer box and switch box can be as small as 100m, and the total floor area including 35kV and other equipment can reach 300m, which is only 1/10 of the floor area of a substation of the same scale. It can fully utilize the street center, square, factory corner and other places for installation and production, which is in line with the national land conservation policy.

7. Beautiful appearance

The outer shell of the box is made of aluminum zinc steel plate and container manufacturing technology, with a beautiful and generous appearance design. On the premise of ensuring power supply reliability, the color selection of the box type substation casing makes it easy to coordinate with the surrounding environment.



Structural characteristics

The substation is composed of a high-voltage distribution device, transformer, and low-voltage distribution shaft connected, divided into three functional compartments, namely the high-voltage compartment, transformer, and low-voltage compartment.The high and low-voltage compartments are fully functional, and the high-voltage side primary power supply system can be arranged into multiple power supply modes such as ring network power supply, terminal power supply, and dual power supply.

-High voltage metering elements can also be installed to meet the needs of high-voltage metering.

-The transformer room can choose S9, SC, and other series of low loss oil immersed transformers or dry-type transformers;

-The low-voltage room can adopt panel or cabinet mounted structures according to user requirements to form the power supply scheme that users need.
It has various functions such as power distribution, lighting distribution, reactive power compensation, energy metering, and quantity measurement, meeting the different needs of users and facilitating power supply management and improving power supply quality.
