KYN28 series Meidum voltage switchgear, is a type of air insulated switchgear with draw out type vacuum circuit breaker. The VCB makes switchgear mainteinence much more easy and friendly to users. All the units can be combined by customer requirement to realize preset functions. The switchgears has the advantages of compact size,flexible for maintainence and stable performance. Therefore, it is widely applied to power transmission and distribution system.

The KYN28 series armored metal enclosed air insulated switchgear  is suitable for three-phase AC 50Hz, 3.6-24kV single busbar and single busbar segmented power systems, and has the "five prevention" function. The movable part of the switchgear can be equipped with components such as vacuum circuit breakers and vacuum contactors.

Switch cabinet structure:

The switch cabinet consists of a fixed cabinet body and a vacuum circuit breaker handcart, which is its basic structure. The switchgear and installed electrical components are shown in the diagram. The incoming cabinet or outgoing cabinet is the basic cabinet scheme, and there are derivative schemes such as busbar segmentation cabinet or metering cabinet. In addition, there are also solutions such as fixed load switches, vacuum contactor handcarts, and isolation handcarts.

The outer shell and partition of the switchgear are made of high-quality steel plates, which have strong anti-oxidation and corrosion resistance functions, and have higher rigidity and mechanical strength than ordinary low-carbon steel plates. The top of the three high-pressure chambers are equipped with pressure release plates. When an internal malfunction occurs, the pressure inside the high-pressure chamber increases. As the cabinet door is reliably sealed, high-pressure gas will be released by bursting open the pressure release plate. Adjacent switchgear are separated by their respective side panels, and there is still an air buffer layer after assembly to prevent the switchgear from being melted by fault arcs.
